Are you ready to shake off the leaves and get clear for new growth?

It's been a very busy time here at Newlands what with a group of new students almost half way through their Diploma In Hypnotherapy & Coaching, not to mention the massive growth both my clients and Warrior coaches are making in their life and business. Everyone seems to be moving at such a fast pace; Summer appears to have flown by and here we are, Autumn already!

Autumn is my favourite time of year, and I have been harvesting my beautiful lavender crop to use around the house during the winter months. It's such a lovely flower that smells great and has incredible medicinal benefits, and for this reason, I have been growing significant amounts in my garden for years. I like to make the most of it at this time of year, and I use it to fill the house with a summer scent to lift my spirits as the dark winter nights set in.

I have also been doing my traditional Autumn clear out and looking at new ways to transform both my home and my mind! Sometimes it's easy to get caught in a rut and forget to give our minds a little clear out now and again.  Autumn is such a perfect time to do this, clearing away what's no longer required or what no longer serves us to make space for all things new in the coming year. Here's what I do to create some space in my mind (and in my home!).

I set aside a little time every day to reflect on what's gone well and what hasnt' quite worked out for me in the year so far and I make a list of things that I would like to keep doing and a list of stuff I would like to either change or stop doing.

Every day I take one thing from my list of positives and start doing more of what I want to do, and I take one thing from my list of 
stuff that I want to stop doing and make a commitment to stop doing these things and to focus my energy on the things that work for me. 

Why not give it a go, it works! I always get great results and feel brilliant and ready to move into the winter months knowing what I still want to get done and create some space in my mind to start sowing the seeds of new ideas about what I want to focus on as the year comes to a close.
